La Delegazione Adi Lombardia si presenta al secondo appuntamento della design week milanese nello scenografico Belvedere di Palazzo Lombardia con la mostra promossa da Regione Lombardia: LightRevolution Il design illumina la vita, la mostra delle luci del Compasso d’Oro, curata da Massimo Farinatti, Ambrogio Rossari e Susanna Vallebona.
Attorniati dal magnifico skyline che offre il 39° piano del Palazzo della Regione Lombardia, i visitatori potranno ammirare 32 prodotti legati alla luce, provenienti dalle selezioni del prestigioso Premio ADI Compasso d’Oro. Vere e proprie icone del design, i prodotti illuminotecnici premiati dal 1954 a oggi, in gran parte ancora in produzione, hanno accompagnato l’evoluzione della nostra società, ne hanno seguito le innovazioni scientifiche e, talvolta sono stati portatori rivoluzionari delle istanze emergenti.
Un intreccio indissolubile, tra luce e società guida il percorso della mostra, un viaggio nel tempo fra i prodotti che compongono l’importante Collezione custodita dalla Fondazione ADI Compasso d’Oro da una parte e le immagini iconografiche della nostra storia dall’altra, scandite dai colori dello spettro luminoso che ne compone la narrazione.
Una mostra dunque che intende celebrare la luce, elemento simbolico fondamentale e centrale dell’esistere, complemento imprescindibile del quotidiano e oggetto di design sempre presente negli oltre sessant’anni di Compasso d’Oro.

The Adi Lombardy Delegation will be at the second Milan Design Week event in the spectacular Belvedere at the Palazzo Lombardia with the exhibition promoted by the Lombardy Region entitled: LightRevolution. Design lights up life. This exhibition presents lights and lighting products featured in the Compasso d’Oro and is curated by Massimo Farinatti, Ambrogio Rossari and Susanna Vallebona.
Against the magnificent skyline visible from the 39th floor of the Lombardy Region Building, visitors will be able to admire 32 products related to light and lighting selected from past winners of the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro Award. Genuine design icons, these lighting products dating from 1954 to the present and largely still in production have gone hand in hand with the evolution of our society, have followed scientific innovations and in turn have occasionally been the revolutionary standard bearers of emerging needs.
An undisputed and unbreakable link between light and society indicates the itinerary through the exhibition, a journey through time between those products that make up part of the important Collection safeguarded by the ADI Compasso d’Oro Foundation on the one hand and the iconographic images of our history on the other, expressed through the full range of the colours of the spectrum that make up the narration.
The exhibition has been designed to celebrate light, a fundamental, central and symbolic element of our existence, an essential accessory in everyday life and a design object that has constantly featured in over sixty years of the Compasso d’Oro.
