Laureato in architettura nel 1984 con il professor Marco Zanuso, quando ancora la sua cattedra si chiamava “Progettazione artistica per l’industria”, Massimo Farinatti ha iniziato il suo percorso professionale durante gli studi, operando come freelance presso studi ed atelier di spicco della realtà creativa milanese.
Nel 1985 fonda Triplano Associati, studio attraverso il quale opera negli ambiti dell’ architettura e dell’ industrial design.
Nel 1992 e nel 1994 “crea” i suoi progetti più belli in assoluto: Federico e Luca.
Nel 1997 apre lo studio che porta il suo nome, trasferendo la base operativa prima in Brianza, poi a Milano, dove attualmente opera.
Ha insegnato Industrial Design presso l’ International College of Design and Arts, la Camera della Moda, la S.P.D.; attualmente insegna Imagination Design presso il Politecnico di Milano e la N.A.B.A.
Dal 1983 è socio ADI dove, negli anni, ha ricoperto diversi incarichi: ne è stato membro dei Probiviri, è stato membro del Comitato Direttivo di Fondazione ADI Collezione Compasso d’Oro; è stato coordinatore del comitato di coordinamento dei Progettisti; è stato coordinatore dell’ Osservatorio Permanente del Design di ADI Lombardia, dal 2011 è Consigliere nel Comitato direttivo di ADI Lombardia del quale è delegato alle relazioni esterne .
Negli anni, ha focalizzato la sua attività sull’ architettura d’interni e sull’ industrial design, collaborando con le maggiori aziende del settore per dar vita nuove tipologie di prodotto, così come a nuovi modi di vivere l’ ambiente.
I lavori che escono dal suo Studio declinano aspirazioni e desideri dei clienti in progetti sostenuti da una rigorosa base metodologica e da una solida visione di risorse e tecnologie disponibili, dando vita ad architetture e prodotti destinati a durare nel tempo.
Lo studio
Situato a Milano nella zona Isola Design District, è una struttura leggera e flessibile, dove coordinamento, metodo progettuale, amore per il dettaglio e una rete di competenze in varie discipline permettono di dare risposte personalizzate e di qualità , rapide e competitive, in un mercato sempre più complesso.
Graduated in architecture in 1984 with Professor Marco Zanuso, Massimo Farinatti began his professional career while studying, working as a freelance in leading studios and ateliers of the Milanese creative reality.
In 1985 he founded Triplano Associati, a studio through which he works in the fields of architecture and industrial design.
In 1992 and 1994 he “created” his most beautiful projects of all: Federico and Luca.
In 1997 he opened the studio that bears his name, moving the operational base first to Merate, then to Milan in the Isola Design District, where he currently operates.
He has taught Industrial Design at the International College of Design and Arts, the Chamber of Fashion, the S.P.D., currently teaches at the Milan Polytechnic and at NABA.
Since 1983 he has been a member of ADI where, over the years, he has held various positions: he has been a member of the Arbitrators, he has been a member of the Steering Committee of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Collection Foundation; he was coordinator of the coordinating committee of designers; he was coordinator of the Permanent Design Observatory of ADI Lombardia, since 2011 he has been a Director in the Steering Committee of ADI Lombardia of which he is delegated to external relations.
Over the years, he has focused his activity on interior architecture and industrial design, collaborating with the major companies in the sector to create new types of products, as well as new ways of experiencing the environment.
The works that come out of his studio decline the aspirations and desires of customers in projects supported by a rigorous methodological basis and a solid vision of available resources and technologies, giving life to architectures and products destined to last over time.
The studio
Located in Milan in the Isola Design District area, it is a light and flexible structure, where coordination, design method, love for detail and a network of skills in various disciplines allow us to give personalized and quality responses, fast and competitive, in a market more and more complex.
